HOORAY FOR SCIENCE

If i could... i would eat this every single second of the day... chain chocolate eater... THATS ME!

Arnotts Tim Tams, Arnotts Crowns, cadbury chocolate's cookies and cream, snickers, mars ANYTHING made from Mr. Coco choco!

What makes it worse, this little devil is not illegal just to put me away from misery...
they even say its GOOD for you and it has health benefits?

GOOD FOR YOU? is THAT wat you saying? WHYYYY peooOOPLE?

well let me just infrom you... all people reading this now... chocolate ISNT that great for you! especially in high amounts.

I had to find an article to stop my addiction one way or another... it was actually going OUT OF CONTROL! (my best friend in times of need)

Chocolate contains stearic acid, a saturated fat.
Saturated fats increase LDL (low density lipoprotein) cholesterol levels which in turn increase risks of coronary artery disease and coronary death.

It also DECREASES HDL (high density lipoprotein) cholesterol, which is infact the better cholesterol, and by decreasing this it may increase tendencies toward fibrin and plaque deposition in the development of atherosclerosis.
You can see the visual effects of arthrosclerosis in our previous blog entry, which shows you exacly how your arteries will look with high amounts of saturated fats.

So girls and boys that are addicted to chocolate... we now have a LIGGIT excuse to eat less of it... HORRAY FOR SCIENCE! =)

coco's of love,
tay xo

*technically* just means you shouldn't eat crappy chocolate but rather the ones with high anti-oxidant amounts and low supplimented fat - which doesn't taste *as* nice anyhow - which serve to reduce risk of cancers and also moderate several inflammatory disease condition....teeheee

So rule of thumb - everything is good in moderation (i.e. pepper contains arsenic)

i just found a box of lindt chocolates downstairs.. and in all honesty, that article does nothing to stop me from eating 3 lindt balls (ok fine, 4)

i dotn believe this "chocolate isnt good for you" bullshit. thats like saying drinking 5 cups of double-shot lattes is not healthy. and we all know thats completely rubbish

just say hypothetically that i DID believe you and your supposedly "scientific" evidence. would nutella categorise as a chocolate and thus likewise require moderate consumption (insert questionmark here - the key doesnt work)

Death or the process by which some one dies over a period of time is (and im hypothesising an icredible ammount here) much more enjoyable when one is unawear of what they are dying from. Now this is precicly the case in ur fine example of the whole chocolate saga, if the ratio of "i dont care" out ways the "photosynthesis bla bla cholesterol bla" in conjunction with "im not a health food nazi" then there is no problem and you can continue eating, haply oblivious to the fact that ur actually slowly dying. So embrace all that is IGNORANCE and tarry not any futher on health food ethics.

go for a walk, paint, sketch, listen to music, sing, play with a puppy/cat/..., read a book, dance, laugh, write a poem or a letter to a friend you haven't seen in a while (and i don't mean email), think of something nice you could do for your family/parents/siblings/friends/teachers/heck even humanity, play a card game with a friend, compile a list of places you want to see in your life time and maybe plan the one that's most likely to happen in the next year...
